May Luncheon Program: Florida House Representative Rick Kriseman – Legislative Update

Join us on May 14th as we welcome three-term Florida House Representative Rick Kriseman from District 53 in St. Petersburg.  On the same day that Governor Rick Scott announced he was turning down Federal money for high-speed rail in Florida, Representative Kriseman introduced a bill that would make it possible for voters to recall state officials. The only way to remove a governor or legislator in Florida at this time is through impeachment. In addition to hearing the details about this bill, Rick will share insight into the political climate in Tallahassee since the loss of many Democratic seats in last November’s election.  If you want to stay informed about what is happening in the Florida Legislature, you won’t want to miss this luncheon!
