CANCELED: March 14th Luncheon Featuring Sonia Pressman Fuentes: From Holocaust Survivor to Feminist Activist

EVENT CANCELED DUE TO HEALTH CONCERNS.

Join us Saturday, March 14th to hear from feminist activist Sonia Pressman Fuentes. Born in Berlin, Germany, Sonia and her family came to the U.S. in 1934 to escape the Holocaust. Learn how this 5 year old immigrant grew up to become the first woman attorney in the Office of the General Counsel at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in 1965, one of the founders of the National Organization for Women (NOW) in 1966, the highest-paid woman at the headquarters of two multinational corporations: GTE and TRW, and an international speaker on women’s rights for the US Information Agency.  Sonia’s memoir will be for sale at the event.

Doors open at 11 a.m. The luncheon and program start at 12 p.m.

Please DO NOT arrive before 11 a.m.

Cost is $26 per person for members and $28 per person for non-members and can be paid using the link provided below.
