CONGRESSMAN CHARLIE CRIST IS GUEST SPEAKER AT DEMOCRATIC CLUB OF SARASOTA APRIL MONTHLY MEETING: Saturday afternoon, April 10, 2:00 – 3:30 pm on Zoom

Congressman Charlie Crist (D-St. Petersburg) will be our special guest speaker at the online Monthly Meeting of the Democratic Club of Sarasota. Please join us Saturday, April 10 at 2:00 pm.

Representative Crist, from Florida’s 13th congressional district covering Pinellas County from Clearwater down through St. Pete, will talk about Florida politics, the pandemic, and his battle against the current trend of voter suppression. He’ll then answer questions. Crist has a long record of leadership service to Florida – as state senator, commissioner of education, attorney general, governor, and now congressman. He recently joined the powerful Appropriations Committee, and also serves on the Science Committee, overseeing NASA and space and climate change policy.

TIME:                  Program starts at 2:00 pm and ends at 3:30 pm ET. Join on Zoom as early as 1:30 pm for a pre-meeting “social.”
